Rose joined her first Women of the Well retreat back in November 2023 and while she wasn’t quite sure what to expect, her experience was a fantastic one.
“I must say that it's come at a great time for me in the sense that I've needed to retreat. I've needed to step back and do some soul searching as well, to really think about where I'm at in my world and being able to to move forward and to think about the future.”When we asked Rose what the highlight of the experience was for her, she shared that being with like-minded, faith-filled women who share the same concerns about life, love & family was something really special. “I’ve come and I felt my cup has been empty, but I've left feeling it's just full, and if anything, it's overflowing. From the input, hearing stories from all the women and connecting.”She was surprised by how deep she dove into finding self and purpose;
“I really hoped that I would leave a different person than when I arrived, which I feel like I have. I think it's been through listening to stories, sharing of the stories and picking up on the connections that there’s things that we all have in common.”
We asked Rose what she would say about Women of the Well Retreats to a woman who might be seeking more in life;
“I've already started to think of women in my life that I can actually suggest this to them. I think we're all a little bit broken. There's parts of us that need healing and I think even if you're not carrying a weight, it's through going in and diving in deep that things will emerge.
So I would totally recommend for anybody to come to be part of Women of the Well.”
